LHBA’s highly trained, highly dedicated staff is what truly sets us apart.  We have an amazing team of Skill Developers and Coaches that are dedicated to helping your athlete improve their basketball skills on the court and life skills off the court.

My name is Brockton Chase Starling, I am from Tyler,Texas. I went to Morehouse college in Atlanta,  Georgia and received a Computer Science degree. I started coaching at basketball camps my Senior year of high school and fell in love with teaching kids the fundamentals and the more advanced parts of the game that helped build character and sculpted me into the person I am today. I have been a Varsisty assistant coach at  North County Christian School for 7 years, and I joined LHBA to continue my growth as a basketball skills developer and coach and to help even more young basketball minds grow and learn the game of basketball.

Heather Callaham is from Cape Cod, MA and most recently moved to the area from Glen Mills, PA.  Heather attended Middleboro High School and then went to Bryant University on a full athletic scholarship where she played both Basketball and Softball.  Heather was inducted into both her high school and college HOFs.    Heather has coached youth basketball for the last 10 years.  She has coached recreational, travel and AAU for youth ages 8-14.  Heather also was co-owner of a Basketball company  H2H Skills Clinic, LLC that specialized in girls clinics and camps for the past 4+ years.   Heather has a passion for basketball and enjoys working with youth and teaching them the fundamentals “on and off the court”.   Heather believes a lot of the skills learned in basketball-  hard work, dedication, team work, “can-do” attitude can all be translated into every day life.   Heather joined LHBA because of the unique structure of BTS, the technology and how the athletes are mentored.

I am from St. Louis, Missouri.
I Attended high school at DeSmet Jesuit.  I played football at Truman State University, but I received my Bachelors of Science in History at Columbia College.  I am currently working toward my Masters in Secondary Education at Missouri Baptist University.
I have coached basketball at the JV and Varsity levels for both boys and girls over the past 10 years.  I spent the last 4 years as the head coach of the boys Varsity team at Arrupe Jesuit high school in Denver Colorado.
I love the game of basketball because of its beauty.  A cohesive unit working together through ball movement and communication demonstrates the beauty of basketball when it is being played at the highest level.  It can look effortless, despite the amount of work that goes into that level of continuity.  I love the process of working with players and teams to develop their knowledge of the game so that they may forge that level of continuity.
I joined LHBA because it was an opportunity to continue coaching after moving back home to St. Louis.  As someone who took over a program at a younger age than most, I knew that I still had much to learn.  Working with my colleagues at LHBA will certainly provide me with that opportunity and I couldn’t be more excited.
